Welcome to oNo NoNo! A Cork-based experimental sound & art gathering.

What is oNo NoNo?

oNo NoNo is a community-powered event series facilitated by Lucía Dwyer and Benjamin Burns. Held monthly in Cork, it’s a playful, welcoming space for artists, musicians, thinkers, movers and anyone curious to co-create in a shared sonic and creative experience.

At its heart, oNo NoNo is an improvised sound session, but it is so much more. We invite and encourage all forms of expression, drawing, poetry, dance, noise, storytelling, movement, or just good listening. Whether you bring your own instrument, use one of ours, or just show up with an open mind, there’s space for you here.

What Happens at oNo NoNo?

Each session features a blend of sound games, collaborative improvisation, and guest artist-led workshops, all with a spirit of fun, experimentation, and inclusion. No two sessions are the same, but every one is filled with connection, creation, and a little beautiful chaos.

Our Instruments Are Yours!

The instruments you see scattered around? They’re part of a communal pot collected and shared by us (Lucía & Ben). They’re yours to explore, just treat them with care and respect.

Drawings & Donations

We make each month’s poster from the artworks created at oNo NoNo. If you draw or write something during the session, feel free to donate it to us for future use!

We run this event on love and generosity. If you're able, please consider donating to help support materials, gear, and our amazing guest artists. There’s a donation jar at each session and a QR code for digital support.
